Description
Frozen Oregon White Truffles (Tuber Oregonense & Tuber Gibbosum) technically belong to two different species that mature at different times of the year. However, they are similar enough that they are sold as the same product. They have a magnificent first impression with their intense aroma that brings roasted hazelnuts and warm, melted butter to mind. Their flavor is deliciously earthy with a hint of herbs and garlic. To experience these delicacies at their prime, order fresh Oregon white truffles from November to January.

Tips: The awesome aroma & flavor of Oregon white truffles can be weakened by cooking, so we recommend adding truffles when the dish is already finished, just before serving. Simply shave them, still frozen, over your favorite dish like risotto, mashed potatoes, pasta, cheese pizza or even scrambled eggs. Let the heat of the dish thaw them naturally for just 2-3 minutes and it’s ready to serve. It is recommended to use 5 grams of truffles per dish per person.
