Porcini Infused Olive Oil
Some truffle and porcini oils have given the market a bad rap. Many of them use mere flavor imitations and contain no actual mushrooms, leading some people to avoid the oils altogether. If you’ve been one of those people, we urge you try out some of ours. Our porcini infused olive oil is made by processing wild porcini mushrooms taken from the forests of Umbria and Tuscany with the highest grade of olive oil available in an extraction chamber. This chamber collects the mushroom’s flavor molecules and infuses it into the oil to develop a woody and nutty flavor. Taste the difference and see. Our porcini mushroom oil is an absolute mushroom lover’s delight! This rare and prized oil is delicious on mashed and fried potatoes, omelets, meats and sautéed vegetables. It is extremely versatile when used in pasta dishes and gravies and can be drizzled on almost any tomato sauce based dish, especially pizza. Also effective in stuffing and as a starter dip for freshly baked bread.
